Botanical Styling: Big Leaf Boutique | Venue: Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre
Samsung/Telstra Gala Dinner @GoldCoastandexibitioncentre Broadbeach right in the heart of the Gold Coast.
This was a Caribbean themed Corporate Event so bright colours and lush Tropical leaves.
We created a Ceiling canopy/ bamboo hanging structure from the ballroom ceiling using some arrays of extra large Bismarkia palm fronds and bamboo pieces to sitting ontop of 3x black tusses the canopy was lit up from the floor which looked amazing.
This Tropical Installation took us a week to prepare for, from Chain sawing down the bamboo from a friends farm, pulling it out with a tractor, cutting to different lengths, cleaning and transporting to @goldcoastconventionandexhibitioncentre.
We also cut over 100x Bismarkia palm frond leaves for the canopy.
And heaps of lush Tropical leaves and foliage all grown on our farm locally @bigleafboutique for the smaller free standing installations we created in the corners of the main stage and beside the Dj stand.
The main stage was also dressed in Bamboo creating a bamboo screening/fascia.
We had a friend to build a surrounding for the DJ stand which was cladded with Bamboo also to blend in with the style of the Event.
They then added their logos with lights ie Samsung AI Galaxy.
We had all day to install this Botanical art piece, and 3xhrs to take it down on the night shift.
