Botanical Styling: Big Leaf Boutique | Venue: Living Edge

We travelled from Byron Bay to Melbourne for the launch of the new show room @Livingedge

Transforming their car park into a Botanical haven, complete with a Tropical Hanging Installation and beautiful copper pendant lights from @tomdixonmelt

Using Rare Tropical palm leaves all grown on our farm @bigleafboutique.

For this Corporate Event we also created a free standing Back drop Installation which looked impressive with the huge purple bromeliads, with the contrast of sliver palms and Bismarkia’s.

The new Living Edge Melbourne Showroom in Richmond officially celebrated its opening with an exclusive party on Thursday 27 February.

Designed by Bates Smart, it encapsulates the immersive retail and commercial philosophy and distinctive visual identity of Living Edge.

On display is a curated collection of furniture and lighting by world-renowned brands, including Herman Miller, Walter Knoll, Vitra, Muuto, BD Barcelona and most recent addition, Tom Dixon.

“Melbourne has always had a creative spirit with a thriving architecture and design community that’s world-renowned.  We were inspired to create an inviting and authentic showroom experience that would meet the needs of the growing industry and provide the ultimate platform to showcase our iconic collection that’s focused on authentic, sustainable and conscious design,” says Aidan Mawhinney, CEO of Living Edge.

Living Edge welcomed 400 guests of the Melbourne design industry, along with a host of interstate and international guests including, Jeremy Hocking president of Herman Miller International.

The car park was transformed into a botanical haven, complete with hanging installations by Big Leaf Boutique from Byron Bay surrounding the new Tom Dixon Melt Copper lighting range. Outside all enjoyed an inspired menu by Ed Dixon Food Design, Colonial Brewery beer truck and flowing Chandon, while upstairs the new commercial showroom space offered Gundog Estate wine tasting paired with matching local cheeses from Harper and Blohm.
